Takedown Page 10
“I need you too.” Kiki’s voice might have been small, but the words echoed through his head.
“The one fucking time you wear pants!” Wade needed at that pussy, now.
Kiki giggled as he hoisted her off the counter in a quick movement. She watched silently as Wade unbuttoned her jeans, only to place her hands on his when he attempted to pull them down.
“Not here. I don’t want to have sex in the kitchen.”
“We won’t. Trust me please.”
Wade knew once he got her in bed he wasn’t going to last long, and he wanted to make every second count. He needed to push her over the edge, immediately.
He took her silence for a yes. Pushing her pants halfway down, he swiftly picked her up, setting her back on the counter, at a better angle to pull off the jeans. Pink lace thong. Fucking pink lace thong. Wade thought he was going to come in his pants at the sight of those sandy colored legs dangling off his counter, those cute pink panties peeking out of the apex of her thighs.
Wade dropped to his knees in front of her. Using his hands, he spread her legs apart.
“Wait. Wade. What are you doing?”
The alarm in her voice wasn’t lost on him. She wouldn’t let him do this the other night, and since then it was all he’d dreamed about. How she’d taste, how she’d react to his tongue at the deepest part of her body.
“Shhh.”
Wade placed a kiss on the inside of her thigh, and Kiki’s hands hit the countertop, looking for support. Obviously, she had liked the simple kiss, and she was going to love what was next. He placed another kiss, higher up this time. Testing the waters to see if she was going to make him stop. She was in control, but he hoped she would give that over to him.
With one more kiss on the other thigh he couldn’t stand it any longer. Eager to drive Kiki wild, he dived in, placing his mouth on her pussy, blowing hot breath through her panties.
“Fuck.” The swear word was a whisper off a pretty mouth.
That was a hell of a reaction from a woman he’d never heard swear before. His ego was growing with every little moan. Pulling back, he used his thumb to trace the crease of her lips over the top of her panties. He looked up to see her head tilted back, fingers white-knuckled, holding the edge of the counter.
He, again, put his mouth on her core, blowing warmth against it, and nipping playfully at her wet pussy. Slipping a finger under the panties, he pulled them to the side, putting his mouth on the smooth, bare skin.
“Oh God!” The loud words echoed in the kitchen.
Kiki made him feel like a god. How his gentle touches were doing so much to her, how she was appreciative and receptive to everything.
Licking up and down the crease of her pussy, he sucked hard, taking in her feminine flavors, savoring the core of Kiki. When his tongue made a pass over her clit, she almost lost her balance on the counter. And Wade knew he had her on the edge of her seat, literally. Grasping a thigh in each hand, he buried his face deep in her core, attacking her clit, licking and sucking relentlessly. Staying aware of her moans as her breath got faster and her hips rocked into his face. He slipped his fingers into her, fucking her with them, while he continued to worship her clit. Working his fingers faster, he needed her to come, he wanted to taste her orgasm.
“God. Wade. Oh. Don’t stop. Please. Oh. Fuck. Please,” Kiki said, desperately rocking harder into him. He thrust harder, and with one last pull on her sensitive nub she came undone.
Wade licked up every juicy piece of Kiki that he could find, letting her enjoy every aftershock of the orgasm before replacing her panties. He stood up and Kiki slipped off the counter, wrapping her arms lazily around his neck, resting her head in the perfect spot on his chest. He ran his hand over her hair soothingly.
“Is it my turn?” Wade asked, gripping her waist, pulling it against his uncomfortable hard-on.
Kiki pulled back abruptly, wide eyes looking up at his.
“I..uh…well..” Kiki stumbled over her words, and he realized that she thought he wanted a blow-job.
He would love one, but not right now. Right now he needed to be inside her, connect with her on a different level.
“Not that. Can I take you to bed?”
A blush swept over her face and a high smile hit her cheeks as she nodded. Wade took her hand, locking his fingers with hers as he led her down the short hallway in the two bedroom condo.
“I’m not going to be able to help myself, Kiki.”
“I’m okay with that,” she said, taking off her top and unclasping her bra, letting it drop to the floor.
Wade shook his head as his mouth went dry. “Who are you?”
He took a minute to admire the beauty standing in front of him. The fooling around they’d done before had mostly been under the covers. Sure, he’d seen her naked, but he’d never seen her like this. So confident, so exposed. Her perfect breasts, which were just enough of a handful, her taut stomach, slim hips, and gorgeous legs. She was perfection, and he was one fucking lucky guy.
“I don’t even know anymore,” Kiki said. “But I’m liking it.”
“I’ve always liked it.”
Wade followed suit, flinging off his clothes as fast as humanly possible.
As eager as he might be, he didn’t want to run the risk of scaring Kiki. With as much control as he could muster, he closed the distance, giving her a simple kiss before taking her hand in his. Wade led her to his bed, where he pulled back the covers, motioning for Kiki to slip in before he followed her.
Lying on their sides facing each other, Wade scooted in close, tangling their legs together. Brushing her hair back, he kissed her. The feeling of her soft hand on his face made his cock twitch. He had a naked Kiki in his bed, and her gentle loving touches were driving him crazy.
Breaking the kiss, he twisted to his nightstand, pulling out a condom and sheathing himself. He wasn’t unaware of the fact that Kiki brushed her hair back nervously, or the hard swallow as she turned on her back.
Wade climbed on top of Kiki, keeping the weight on his forearms. “Are you okay?”
“Yes.” She nodded, slightly pale.
“Promise?”
“Please, Wade,” Kiki begged.
That was all he needed to hear. Centering the head of his cock at her slick cunt, he pushed himself to the hilt. He was fucking lucky that he’d just made her cum, she was tight, and he almost came undone with that one thrust.
Kiki let out a heavy breath, and he hoped he wasn’t hurting her.
“God, Kiki. You feel amazing. You’re so tight. Am I hurting you?”
She looked up at him, licking her lips. “Oh no. It feels incredible already. Isn’t this the part where you lose control and fuck me?”
Wade was taken aback by her words. He was hanging on by a thread even now, but the idea of fucking her like a wild man was a dream.
“What a mouth you’ve got on you, Kiki,” Wade teased. “Don’t want me to make love to you?”
“One day maybe. But right now, I want the man who worshiped me in the kitchen to have his way with me.”
Lucky son of a bitch.
Wade pulled out a bit before slamming in deep, grinding.
A deep moan came from Kiki’s pretty mouth as her back arched up into him. He repeated the motion each time a new, encouraging sound escaped her. He didn’t have more than two pumps left in him. But his ego wanted to give her a second orgasm. He latched his mouth on her nipple, grinding his cock into her body, her clit rubbing against the base of his cock.
When her back arched again, his name ringing off her lips, he pulled out and fucked her as fast as he could. Her pussy clenched his cock, her own release again running through her body. It was then that the goose bumps covered his body as he came, harder than he ever had in his life.
Wade slipped out, rolling to his back and taking Kiki with him, letting her rest on his chest. Both of them were panting to catch their breath.
“Did you get there?” Wade asked as he g
ently stroked her bare back, wanting the verbal confirmation.
Kiki inhaled a sleepy breath. “Yes.”
Wade smiled. “Good.” He paused. “All right, baby, I gotta go take care of this.”
When Kiki rolled off his chest Wade hopped up, running to the en-suite bathroom, eager to get back to her.
Coming back into the dark room, he went to his dresser, digging around for a pair of boxers and a t-shirt. He slipped the boxers on.
“Here, babe, you want a shirt?”
Kiki sat up, the sheet wrapped over her breasts in modesty, but she had a big smile on her face and there was a glow to her skin.
“Am I going to be one of those girls?”
“Which girls?” Wade asked, confused.
“The kind who wear their boyfriend’s t-shirts?”
The question threw him off guard. He hadn’t really thought about it. No girl had ever worn his t-shirt before. But Kiki hadn’t brought clothes, and he didn’t think sleeping in her going-out clothes would be comfortable for either of them.
“I hope so.” Thinking about it now, it sounded sexy.
Wade climbed into bed next to her, helping to pull the shirt over her head. The white tee looked cute on her. He laid back, arms crossed behind his head, and Kiki took the opportunity to snuggle against his body, her head resting on his chest.
“I want you to know that the last thing I’d ever want to do is hurt you,” Wade said softly.
He wanted to give Kiki something, a reassurance. He didn’t know what he was capable of anymore. When it came to relationships he didn’t know what he could handle, and she needed to know that.
“I believe you. And know that I would never hurt you.”
Those words, while he felt they were honest, cut into him. He’d heard that before, and just like before he wanted to trust them. But something about this time made him naïve enough to believe it.
“Will you tell me about it now? About what happened with you and Jessica?”
No. “I was a different person back then. Not so scared.”
“Scared of what?”
“Missing out on life. I worry every day about one day regretting not doing more, not seeing more, about being tied down.”
He felt the deep breath Kiki took and the heavy exhale against his chest. He didn’t have the right words. But he wanted her to know that as much as he didn’t want to hurt her, that he might on accident, but never on purpose.
“Is that because of your parents or because of Jessica?” Kiki asked as she gently rubbed her hands up and down his arm, soothing him.
“I’m pretty tired. Why don’t we try to get some sleep?” Wade said, twisting to his side, rolling Kiki with him. He wrapped his arms around her, spooning her back to his front.
“Okay.”
Kiki’s voice was small, disappointed. But that was all the sharing he had in him. And even that was more than he had planned. His past was something he wanted to keep in the past. He was hell-bent on not letting it affect his future.

Wade handed Kiki a cup of coffee. He didn’t remember the last time he had slept past 8 AM, but after last night he was beat.
“Wanna go grab some lunch?” Kiki asked, taking a sip of her coffee.
Wade scoffed at the idea; lunch hadn’t been their strong suit. In fact, they still had some unfinished business in regard to the last lunch they had together.
“Speaking of lunch, I still owe you a real apology. I honestly hate the idea of you being friends with Joshua, but I’m not going to say another word about it. I trust you, and I’m not the kind of guy to get between you and your friends.”
“Thank you. That means a lot to me.”
“But there is still something we need to clear up, about Jess.”
That got Kiki’s attention. She sat up rigidly, placing her cup on the table, waiting for him to continue.
“That woman will never be my friend. And how she even was allowed to come back to the gym is something I still need to figure out. You’ve probably heard that we have a past, but that’s over. It’s been over.”
“I believe you.”
“Good.” Wade took a deep breath. “Also, I feel compelled to tell you that she came onto me the other day, before we went out to lunch. She cornered me in the clinic while I was setting it up. I told her in no uncertain terms that nothing was ever going to happen between us and that I’m seeing someone.”
Kiki’s face paled slightly as she looked down at her hands, twisting them together nervously. “Why did you tell me that, Wade?”
He could hear the hurt in her voice, and it made his stomach sink. He thought he’d done the right thing. Hadn’t he?
“I just thought you should hear it from me. I know how things get around in that gym. Rumors are easily started and spread like a staph infection.”
Kiki nodded. “Okay. Thank you.” She looked up at him still with a flat expression. “Can I ask you something?”
“Anything.”
“What happened between you two?”
Anything but that. Wade sighed hard, turning in the kitchen to fill up his coffee cup. It was close to eleven, but he lived on coffee. And anything that delayed his response was good.
“We broke up. It was pretty uneventful.” Wade tried to brush it off. How was he supposed to tell his new girl that his old girlfriend had at one time been the love of his life who crushed him?
“If you don’t want her back at the gym, it can’t be that uneventful. And Vi and Leena seem to hate her,” Kiki pressed.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” Wade shut down the question.
“If it’s so trivial, then why not?”
“Kiki, just fucking drop it. Do you want to talk about your past boyfriends with me? It’s weird,” Wade snapped.
“Hey,” Kiki scolded. “I’m sorry if I upset you. I don’t particularly want to talk about this, but if my ex-boyfriend was working at the gym you’d probably want to know about our past.”
“Are you friends with your ex-boyfriends?” Wade asked, wanting to move the spotlight from himself.
“Does it matter?” Kiki asked defensively.
“See. It doesn’t matter, just like Jess doesn’t matter. I don’t want to talk about this anymore.” Wade put his foot down. “How about we go to lunch? I know this great spot–”
“No thanks. I’m not that hungry. Would you like to take me home or should I call a cab?” Kiki asked, her voice quaking.
Wade felt like a complete ass. He didn’t want to talk about this, but getting angry with Kiki about it wasn’t the right approach. He shouldn’t have lost his temper. But there were things that he liked to keep tucked away in the past, to be left in the past. They were gone, so why did it matter?
“I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad at me. I handled this badly. I don’t want to talk about her, especially with you. I like where we are at, why dampen it with the past that doesn’t even matter? You matter and that’s it,” Wade said, coming around and pulling Kiki out of her chair, wrapping his hands around her waist.
“I guess that makes sense,” Kiki agreed.
Wade leaned down, placing a chaste kiss on her lips. “Can I please take you to lunch before I take you home?”
“Yes, of course you can.”
Chapter 14
It was after three when Kiki and Vi made it back to the gym. Vi had gone with Kiki for her last bridesmaid dress fitting. Being the ever so detailed bride that she was, she wanted to see it with her own eyes. With the wedding only about two weeks away there were a bunch of last minute strings to tie up, and Vi needed to be a part of everything. Leena joked that she was going to start slipping Xanax into Vi’s coffee.
“Let’s meet an hour before closing and we can go over some more of the bookwork that I do,” Vi said. “Also, check my schedule and find a spot for us to spend at least an hour each day this week going over what you’ll be covering while I’m out.”
“Sure,” Kiki agreed.

Training for a management position like this could take time, but the hardest part was that Vi was going to be gone for three weeks on her honeymoon, so they were trying to pack as much information into each day as possible so Kiki didn’t have a hard time while Vi was gone.
Even though Vi insisted that Kiki call if she had any problems, Kiki was not going to do that. Aside from this being Vi and Colin’s honeymoon, it was going to be the last time for a while when they had some alone time. Colin was going to start his training camp for his extremely important upcoming fight. So Kiki was going to have to pay attention and take awesome notes, because Vi deserved this!
Kiki waved at Vi as she headed to her office.
“Hey, Lawson, you ready to take your lunch break?” Kiki asked the man sitting behind the reception desk.
Kiki had asked him to come in late, so he would take a late lunch, and stay late to cover the time she’d be spending with Vi at closing.
“Yeah.” Lawson nodded. “You need anything?”
“Vi and I picked something up, but thank you.” Kiki smiled.
Lawson was a good guy and a good hire. She took some pride in the fact that she’d found him; her first duty as manager had been successfully completed.
Lawson nodded, and with a wave he headed toward the break room.
Kiki sat her bag on the desk before folding herself into the chair. She was ready for a minute off her feet. Reaching forward for her bag, she rustled around to find her cellphone. She’d promised Leena they’d go out soon, and she wanted to text Wade to see how his day was going.
They’d hit that stage where they would send cute messages back and forth. Lately, most mornings they were waking up next to one another, but on those other days, they stayed in touch. She wished she could see him more, but between his school, homework, and Kiki trying to learn her new duties at the gym they were busy or exhausted by the end of the day.
“Hey, Keeks,” a feminine voice said with a sneer.
Kiki sighed inwardly. She hadn’t had much interaction with Jessica. The first day Jessica came into the gym was the most they’d spoken since she’d returned to the gym. And that was good enough for Kiki.
